This substantial and charming Edwardian villa in Parkville required thorough restoration & re-orientation towards its large back yard. The project involved the removal on an unsympathetic 1970’s addition and its replacement with a large new Living Area, Formal Dining Room & Kitchen.

This project included the extensive re-landscaping of the entire block and the restoration of the existing house – including the installation of new Bathrooms within the existing shell.

The form of the new work combined the proportions & scaling of the original house but with an open & modern æsthetic. The result is new work, that sits comfortably alongside the original house, without the compromise of contemporary amenity.
